To pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a Director International Online Business (m/f/d) heading us to new markets for our digital distance learning programmes. We need an inspirational leader with deep experience in online marketing and eCommerce. Working with international, best-in-class marketeers & sales teams, you’ll be responsible for driving leads, applications and revenue through all touchpoints. This highly entrepreneurial full time position is based in München or Berlin.
Director International Online Business (m/f/d).
- You are responsible to internationalise our highly successful academic digital distance learning programme
- Conduct strategic landscaping to identify most promising internationalisation option
- Identify and implement profitable growth strategies within new markets & countries
- Establish market positioning, pricing, sales strategies within the region to scale the business unit
- Rapidly multiply the successful approach across various territories
- Scale, coach and develop highly competent teams and establish a culture of experimentation & failure
- Overall entrepreneurial responsibility for budgets and earnings for the international distance learning programmes
- Bachelor / Master Degree or higher education in relevant fields (e. g. Business, E-Commerce, Marketing, MBA)
- Proven leadership experience in an agile environment (+3 years), in the eCommerce industry or start-up are a strong advantage
- Deep understanding of customer marketing & sales strategies, with the ability to implement robust growth plans and transforming them into digital business success
- Previous internationalisation / country management success for a digital business ideally in non European markets
- Successful leadership of international sales teams to drive growth
- Strong analytical skills combined with a pragmatic heuristical approach
- Team player that is eager to show the team his great interpersonal skills by leading from the front
- Previous experience with an online and/or subscription business model
- Entrepreneurial start-up attitude, hands-on mentality, digital mindest, high motivation and still a willingness to learn
- Structured and analytical working method and high reliability in the implementation of even time-critical requirements
- Full fluency in spoken and written English, German is a plus.
