The International University of Applied Sciences with its IUBH Campus Studies, IUBH Distance Learning, IUBH Extra-occupational Studies and IUBH Dual Studies divisions - has become one of the most successful private universities in Germany since its founding in 1998. For our distance learning program (Master-level course) we are now looking for a Freelance Author (m/f/d) in the following course:

Inference and Causality  

Course content:

  • Statistical Inference
  • Introduction to Causality
  • Interventions
  • Do-calculus
  • Fallacies  

 Your tasks include:

  • The creation of a course book (5-10 units) based on an existing module description/course outline
  • The creation of related online and exam questions
  • The selection of related readings

All content will be written in English. A course book contains about 30,000 to 50,000 words (130–200 pages). You will receive detailed guidelines regarding the content, format, and the specific elements of the course book to be delivered. The work will be completed exclusively offsite (i.e. from your home office).

Authors should have an academic background in Inference and Causality  (Master or PhD) and experience creating study materials.
