Operations Manager (m/f/d) Online International

Your primary duties and accountabilities

  • You are responsible for the customer journey of our international distance learning prospective students in terms of marketing, customer acquisition and sales 
  • You manage the operational customer processes from first contact to contract closure and work intensively on optimizing them together with the sales teams 
  • You ensure that all tools, systems and processes operate smoothly and are aligned with our operational standards 
  • You consider shifting business needs as well as those of external and internal stakeholders and incorporate them into new initiatives and strategic plans 
  • You identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies or potential for improvement in our daily operations by analyzing data and processes 
  • You report all key performance indicators, goals, efficiency and trend analyses during monthly business reviews to the executive board and determine values and mission 
  • You will help expand our BA and MA offerings into new international markets, have a feel for other cultures and their habits and identify the changes necessary to deliver an optimal product and service to each new international target group 
  • You collaborate with other Operations Managers (e.g. in after sales) to identify and implement best practices 




Position requirements

  • You have successfully completed your studies and have at least 2 years of professional experience, preferably in the area of project / process management or in the management of operational customer processes
  • With an intensive customer orientation and a strong service philosophy, you ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and a high recommendation rate
  • You bring an analytical and entrepreneurial approach and convince with decision-making joy and implementation strength
  • You have a certain IT affinity and a high understanding of IT systems and software applications, excellent MS Office skills are a matter of course for you
  • You like to work in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment
  • You have business fluent English and at least basic German language skills
